Over the years, Knöllinger has continually expanded its sliding gate plates segment to become a pioneering supplier of high-quality products. The product portfolio comprises cast and pressed, resin- or tar-impregnated sliding gate plates and covers a range of material qualities.

The materials used include spinel compounds, materials containing high alumina and, nowadays preferred, carbon bonded types. The product range for this sector is rounded off by a plate format developed in-house (FT 200 and FT 160) for the Knöllinger Flo-Tec GmbH’s FT gate mechanism.

With this product group in particular, Knöllinger has been able to achieve substantial development advances over the past years that today manifest in diverse and constantly expanding, permanent supplier agreements with renowned steelworks.
